Kopke
Kopke is the world’s oldest porthouse. Kopke was founded in 1638 by Cristiano Köpke.
Kopke port specializes in Tawny port and especially the old Tawny port (the so-called Colheita’s). A Colheita is characterized by the brown / almond color, the smell of roasted notes of raisins and dried fruit. The older the Colheita becomes, the more complex he becomes. 80% of the port made by Kopke is Tawny port. But also the Ruby’s and Vintage ports are delicious ports at an attractive price and especially suitable anyone that is new to port.
Kopke has high quality craft and quality, as recognized by the hand-written bottles and attention to the packages.
