Niepoort

Niepoort was founded in 1842 by the Dutchman Eduard Kebe. A few years later the first Niepoort came into the company, to which Niepoort owes its name. To this day, the current owner Dirk Niepoort has a Dutch passport.

In 1987 Niepoort acquired Quinta de Nápoles and Quinta do Carril in Cima Corgo, a region that traditionally produces the best ports. The passion for port and the humble respect for and the curiosity about the Douro terroir has defined the team spirit at Niepoort Port over the past two decades. Niepoort produces the most beautiful ports, from Vintage ports to oldTawnies (Colheita).
