Rosé is the newest port type, which has only been on the market for several years. Croft was the first with Rosé port in 2008 and this port was officially authorized in 2009. The Rosé port is created by allowing the red grapes to soak cool, which gives the light colored juice. This juice is fermented at low temperature to reach Rosé. Rosé port is deliciously light and has a fruity taste.
