This sublime white port lacks the red color, because the peels are removed immediately after pressing. As a result, a light, fairly sweet aperitif has been created, which – lightly chilled – taste deliciously. Even on-the-rocks, as the British like to do! From Oporto, the vineyards are just across the Douro. What can you taste? Rich fragrant nose with aromas of soft, juicy fruit and hints of honey and oak. It is a port with a body, a velvet taste and a long, tasty aftertaste. Fonseca Special White Port can be dispensed directly from the bottle and does not have to be decanted.
